瓦倫丁．西爾維斯特羅夫：獨立廣場 Valentin Silvestrov: Maidan (CD) 【ECM】

烏克蘭作曲家瓦倫丁．西爾維斯特羅夫（Valentin Silvestrov）持續與ECM合作，《獨立廣場》（Maidan）這張合唱專輯除了有Silvestrov的聲樂創作，也收錄了由米科拉．霍布迪奇（Mykola Hobdych）領導的基輔室內合唱團在基輔聖邁克爾大教堂的激情表演。在2014年烏克蘭爆發的「歐洲獨立」示威浪潮後，西爾維斯特羅夫創作了《2014年獨立廣場》，曲中使用了烏克蘭詩人Taras Shevchencko的詩句及讚美詩。在CD的解說中，西爾維斯特羅夫指出「我既不能也不願意複製這場可怕戰爭，相反的，我想表達我們的文明有多脆弱。我試著用我的音樂，來維護和平的一天。」這張專輯在西爾維斯特羅夫85歲生日之際發行。
